Bergdorf Goodman Twinkle Chain Fringe Booties Fill in the Blank: The Brian Atwood Twinkle Chain Fringe Booties are...
Brian Atwood loves a three-dimension shoe. His most preferred methods of going above and beyond the normal dimensions of the foot are feathers and embroidery, but that doesn’t mean Atwood isn’t willing to experiment with all kinds of embellishment when it comes to designing a new pair of shoes. At first glance, I thought that the stuff hanging off of the Brian Atwood Twinkle Chain Fringe Booties was wispy little bits of feather. After reading the name, I zoomed in and realized my mistake – those are indeed tiny little chains hanging off of the shoe.
The way that the chains are applied makes them flare out from the body of the boot instead of having them lie flush against the suede, which is what contributes to Atwood’s signature flare. I’m just not entirely convinced that I’d want to wear them, though, which is why they’re the subject of this week’s Fill in the Blank. You know the drill: Take to the comments to finish the sentence in the title of the post, or simply pick up your own pair of these shoes for $2578 via Bergdorf Goodman.
