We have a uniform; black. And when it comes to buying anything bright, it's confining to the previous fall wardrobe; white sweater, khaki jacket, and back leather jacket. Maybe a plaid scarf, maybe. We
limit ourselves to a last minute go-to outfit. It's casual, and it's
sure as hell easy to throw together. In the end we always feel not enough like there is something missing. That said, all the pop we got left filters to our lips and nails. I am over blue nail polish, and from the time I was interning at Isaac Mizrahi, red lips were all the rage in the office. I still love it. I think it's a great way to throw on some pop, and it's also very Haute Inhabit. Here
we have a girl rocking that exact look. The whole image seems to fade
as her lips and nails stand out immensely. And I love that they almost
match.
I found a great nail and lipstick set from
the same brand. When mixing, I like to buy the same brand because of
the homogenous pigments. This is a beauty bag staple. It's also the most
inexpensive way to add a burst of color to any neutral outfit.
