I haven’t actually tried on a peplum top yet so I don’t have a personal opinion on whether the cut is actually flattering or not. All I can say so far is that I LOVE how Elin Kling, Aimee Song and Christine Centenera have styled their peplums, all casually with either skinny jeans or in Christine’s case, loose fitting pants. Most importantly – all also with heels.
With peplum’s this year noticeably a fashion week favourite on the runway and off, it’s pretty much a sure sign the trend will be huge with the masses for the season ahead.
I’m always eager to try something new, especially when there’s so inspiration on hand. What do you think of the peplum trend? Have you tried one on yet? I’d love to know your thoughts!
